Domande frequenti
Tocca l'ingranaggio in alto a destra.
Cosa vuol dire "in linea d'aria"?

Frequently asked questions
How does it work?
Enter the name and city of the people (or places) you love. Then hold your phone flat, parallel to the ground, and turn it: when a heart reaches the top it turns green, and that person is right that way.
How do I add, edit or delete a person?
Tap the gear icon at the top right. From there you can add new people, change a name or city, or delete them.
How do I see just one person on the compass?
Tap their name in the list below the compass: only their heart will remain. Tap it again to see everyone.
The city found isn't the right one. What can I do?
Some cities share the same name in different countries (for example Valencia in Spain and in Venezuela). Add the country too, for example "Valencia, Venezuela" or "San José, Costa Rica". Searching for a city requires an Internet connection.
The direction seems wrong. What should I do?
Your phone's compass probably needs calibrating: move your phone in a figure-eight in the air for a few seconds. Also keep away from metal objects, magnets, magnetic cases and speakers, which interfere with the compass.
What does "straight-line distance" mean?
It's the shortest distance over the Earth's surface between you and that person, as if you were flying in a straight line. The actual route by car, train or plane will be longer.
Why do I see kilometers (or miles)?
The app uses the measurement system set on your iPhone, in Settings › General › Language & Region › Measurement System.
Why does the app need my location?
To know where you are and calculate the direction and distance to the people you love. Your location is used only on your phone and is never stored or sent. If you denied it, you can turn it on in iOS Settings, under the app › Location.
Where do the names and cities I enter go?
They stay only on your phone: we never receive them and never send them anywhere. You'll find all the details in the Privacy Policy.
How do I share the postcard?
Tap the share icon at the top. If you've selected someone in the list, you share their postcard; otherwise you share the one with everyone. The postcard is also designed for Instagram Stories.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. On iPads without a compass, the dial doesn't follow the device's movements: it stays with north at the top, but distances and directions relative to north are still correct.
Why is there a banner ad?
The banner lets us keep the app free. Ads are not personalized.
